The 2008 WSOP Event 25: $10,000 World Championship Heads Up No-Limit Holdem

The $10,000 World Championship Heads Up No-Limit Holdem event was the 25th poker tournament scheduled for the 39th Annual World Series of Poker in 2008. Held at the beautiful floors of the wonderful Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino within the City of Las Vegas in the state of Nevada, this very exciting event featured 256 of the finest players of the game engage in high-stakes poker competition. From June 13 to 15, 2008, all the participants amassed a grand total $2,406,400 as prize pool for this prestigious poker competition.

Simultaneously, this victory came with grand pot money valued at $539,056. On the other hand, Torelli also went home with a nice cash prize amounting to $336,896 for his second place efforts at this super exciting and thrilling poker tournament.
